This is [first name, call sign spelled phonetically], Net Control for the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Practice Net, on W6PIY repeaters.

I will yield for any emergency or priority traffic during tonight’s practice net. (PAUSE)

We meet here evenings each week on Sunday at 8:30, Monday at 8:00, and Tuesday at 7:30 to give members a choice when to exercise their radio equipment and on-the-air skills. Visitors and Guests are welcome and will be called following member check-ins.

Be sure to wait for the repeater courtesy tone at the end of each person's transmission before beginning to be sure the last person has finished.

(PAUSE = stop transmitting to force courtesy tone)

First member check-in now with your First Name, FCC Call Sign, spelled phonetically, and Neighborhood (or City, if not Los Gatos or Monte Sereno).

(PAUSE ... acknowledge each check-in as received)
